We are a 120-strong international team from a wide range of disciplines related to domains. What connects us: providing domain names to people who want to establish and expand their online presence. Every good idea needs a good name. But practically all promising names are taken. Sedo was founded in 2001 for this very purpose - and has since been instrumental in establishing the worldwide "domain secondary market".

Our common goal is to make domain trading as easy and secure as any other online purchase by creating the best possible user experience for our more than 3 million customers worldwide.

Central location

Our office is centrally located in the Mediapark in Cologne, one of the hottest metropolises in Germany with very good transport connections.

Public transportation ticket

As a Sedo employee, you receive a fully funded Germany-wide public transportation ticket.

Urban Sports Club membership

We offer our employees a discounted USC membership. This provides each of us with numerous opportunities for recreational activities to balance the sometimes stressful work routine.

Vacation

We want our employees to be able to realize their projects rested and with energy. Therefore, our employees are entitled to 30 days of vacation per year.

Flexible working hours

Bring your kids to daycare, sleep in or do the Early Bird. You can come into the office between 7 and 10 a.m. and organize your working day according to your personal preferences. Core working hours are between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Open door policy

Our open working atmosphere with flat hierarchies is what sets us apart. We communicate at all levels at eye level and on a first-name basis.

Whether going out to eat with the department or partying with the whole company at the summer and Christmas parties: cohesion, fun with colleagues and cross-team activities are important to us.

Internationality

We employ 120 people from a wide range of countries and speak 25 different native languages. In our office in Boston, USA, you can get to know even more colleagues and gain intercultural experience.

Continuing education

We offer our colleagues need-based continuing education, for example in the form of our in-house Sedo Academy or through various language courses.

Work from Home

The craftsperson will be at your home at 12 noon? Working from home is also possible by arrangement. This saves you the hassle of commuting and allows you to work on your projects at home.
