What does "Reserve met" mean?

For marketplace auctions the reserve is already met at the start of the auction as the seller initiated the auction by accepting the offer as the starting bid and reserve price. If the domain does not receive additional bids during the auction period, the buyer's initial offer is still binding and wins the auction. For brokerage initiated auctions and Direct Auctions, the reserve is not met at the start of the auction and will only be posted once it has been met through the auction. All bids received below the reserve price will be accepted and posted, however, should the reserve price not be met, the auction will not end in a sale.
