APPLYING FOR SEDOPRO
top  How long until I know if I've been accepted in to SedoPro?
Application processing time can vary depending on the quantity of
applications that we receive, but you can generally expect to have
a response from us within 2-3 business days. However, you can
immediately activate your Sedo account and begin parking your
domain names (eg, changing the settings at your registrar to point
the domains at Sedo). Once you are accepted into the SedoPro
program, no further action will be required, and your account will
automatically be upgraded to a SedoPro account.
top Do I need to be a Sedo member to join SedoPro?
No, anyone is welcome to apply to SedoPro, regardless of whether
or not you are already a Sedo member. However, there are certainly
advantages to creating a normal Sedo account before you apply for
SedoPro:
- Parking with Sedo's standard parking program for a while will let
us directly observe your traffic quality, which can help you gain
acceptance to SedoPro in borderline cases where you otherwise may
not have had sufficient amount of domains or earnings.
- If you already use Sedo for parking, no further action is
required on your part once you're accepted to SedoPro: we'll
upgrade your account and your domains will automatically switch to
the new system.
top Can I park my domains with SedoPro even if I'm not interested in selling them?
Yes, you do not need to sell your domains in order to park with
SedoPro. When you create your account, you will be able to specify
on a per-domain basis whether or not you would like to list the
domain for sale. For any domains that you would like to sell, we'll
automatically display a "For Sale" link on the parking page, and
list the domain for sale at Sedo.com, the world's largest domain

top What are the minimum requirements for joining SedoPro?
SedoPro requires you to have a minimum of 1000 domains or €200/$300 per month
in domain parking earnings in order to join. In addition, we also will examine
the quality of your traffic and the domains in your portfolio, and in some
cases even portfolios meeting the minimum size requirements may not qualify for
membership in SedoPro. If you do not meet the SedoPro requirements, we
encourage you to consider Sedo's standard domain parking program, located at
www.sedoparking.com.
top Do I need to sign a contractual commitment in order to join SedoPro?
No. SedoPro does not require a contractual commitment, and you are free to leave the program at any
time if you are not pleased with the higher earnings and value-added features that SedoPro provides.
In some cases we will offer customers interested in developing a long-term relationship with Sedo
a higher revenue share in exchange for a contractual commitment. These contracts are purely optional,
and it's up to you to decide if the extra revenue justifies the reduced flexibility of signing
a contract.
PAYMENTS
top When do you make payments?
SedoPro pays out on a net-15 cycle. This means that your payments
will be sent out at the latest by the 15th of the following month.
Sedo has an excellent track record of on-time payments for over two
years.
top How can I receive my parking payments?
SedoPro makes payments via check, wire transfer, or Paypal. You
will have the option of selecting the payment method of your
choice, and we will not charge you to send payment regardless of
the method you select. You can specify your desired payment option
on the "Payment Details" page of your Sedo account.
top What is the minimum payout threshold?
The payment threshold is $/€ 20 for Paypal payments, or $/€ 50 for
wire transfers. This threshold is among the lowest in the parking
industry. If you earn less than $/€ 20 in one month, you will in no
way lose your parking revenue. It will simply be carried over into
the next month and you will be paid once your revenue crosses the
payment threshold.
HOW TO PARK WITH SEDOPRO
top How do I park with SedoPro?
The procedure is as follows:
1. Login to your SedoPro account and add the domains you’d like to park by going to "Add Domains" in the My Sedo menu. Please remember to set the relevant category and the domain language for each domain, as this information is helpful in optimization of the domain.
2. Next, go to your registrar (the company where you registered the domains) and change the DNS settings as detailed below.
Primary name server (ns1): ns1.sedoparking.com
Secondary name server (ns2:) ns2.sedoparking.com
You may also need the IP addresses for the name servers
Primary name server (ns1): 217.160.95.94
Secondary name server (ns2): 217.160.141.42
Many registrars allow you to carry out a "Bulk Edit/Update" which means you can change the DNS
for all of your domains at one go instead of having to do them individually.
It can take 1 to 2 days to update the name servers.
Although we recommend changing the DNS servers, it is also possible to forward your domains to our parking
system by URL forwarding. This can be done by your registrars – though some registrars charge a fee for this
and some do not accept bulk updates for URL forwarding. Should you decide to use this method,
please forward the URL to the following address:
http://www.sedoparking.com/domainname.com/
Remember to replace "domain.com" with your domain.
top Can I use a frame to forward my domains?
Yes, you may use a 100% frame (sometimes referred to as a “mask”) such that the parking page is the only thing
displayed in the browser window. You must obtain permission from Sedo before adding any additional content
in a frame around a Sedo parking page.
top Do you allow any customizations of the parking page?
For very high volume accounts, we will sometimes allow customizations of the page design,
although such pages are still subject to a number of design restrictions placed upon the parking pages by
our upstream advertising partner. For more information about page customization, please contact your SedoPro
Account Manager.
top What are the restrictions on parking with SedoPro?
SedoPro places a premium on traffic quality, and we therefore regularly monitor the domains parked with us
and the hits that they receive. If we detect any irregular traffic or clicks on a domain, we reserve the right
to withhold payment and/ or bar the user from further participation in SedoPro.
In particular, the following are not allowed:
1. Using scripts or other automated methods of generating clicks
2. Clicking on the advertisements yourself (or asking your friends, family, pets, etc. to click on them)
3. Pop-ups or pop-unders
4. Incentivized clicks (forcing or encouraging visitors to click on the links)
5. Everything which cannot be classified as "natural" traffic (Natural traffic = search engine results and type-ins)

top What happens if I move my domains away?
You must maintain at least 1000 domains or €200/ $300 in earnings through
SedoPro in order to keep your SedoPro account active. If you drop below this
level, we will notify you and allow you 30 days to meet the minimum SedoPro
requirements. If you're unable to meet these requirements, your account will
automatically revert to a standard Sedo account at the end of the 30 days.

top Will SedoPro help me sell my domain names?
Yes, SedoPro parking pages are completely integrated into Sedo’s domain marketplace.
Thus, you can add links from your parking page directly to your Sedo sales listing page, giving every visitor
an opportunity to instantly place an offer through a trusted third party.
top How is SedoPro different from the standard Sedo Parking service?
SedoPro offers additional revenue-generating features, more detailed professional-level statistics,
a higher revenue share, and a dedicated account manager to assist with maintenance and optimization of your account.
top How does optimization work?
SedoPro offers both 1-click (pre-optimized) and 2-click (portal) parking landers. For the pre-optimized pages,
you have two options for selecting a keyword: you can specify a keyword yourself (subject to review for relevancy),
or you can ask Sedo staff to choose keywords for you.
Both 1-click and 2-click pages employ a number of additional optimization features to try to help your visitors
find what they’re looking for, including behavioral optimization (user-searched queries) and semantic analysis
(related topics). The specific related links displayed will vary depending on the visitor’s geographic origin
and language.
top What do you mean "better payouts for quality traffic"? Is this an affiliate (CPA) program?
No, SedoPro is a pure PPC parking program. However, the amount earned with each click will vary depending on — among
other factors — the quality of the visitor as determined by a number of empirical statistical analysis techniques.
In other words, clicks that we’ve determined to be more likely to lead to a sale for the advertiser will be better
paid than clicks less likely to lead to a sale.
top Does it cost anything to use SedoPro?
No, parking with SedoPro is a free service.
