Criteria

Domains may be approved for Top Domains listings if:

• The domain is short, a real word, and is easy to remember.
• It is a generic domain, e.g. like car.com, creditcard.com or books.com
• The domain is easy to spell and not prone to typographical errors.
• The domain is product-related and therefore has a high commercial value
• The domain doesn't violate any third party rights (e.g. trademark rights)
• The language of the domain is one of the following: English, German, Spanish, or French
• The TLD geographically matches the language of the domain name and is either .com, .de, .es, .co.uk or .fr
• The domain does not contain hyphens
• The domain does not contain any numbers, with the exception of 1, 2 or 3 digit domains.

Application Process

Sedo's Top Domains list is application-based.  To submit a domain for consideration, follow the process outlined below:

1. Log into your Sedo account.
2. Visit My Sedo > My Domains > Domain Management.
3. Check off up to five domains to be considered.
4. Select "Apply for Topdomains listing" from the dropdown.
5. On the following page confirm the application.
